In this section you can find out what is going on in relation to MAFEIP activities and active and healthy ageing initiatives in Europe (and beyond) and keep updated on the latest use cases developed with MAFEIP!
The European “Blueprint on Digital Transformation of Health and Care for the Ageing Society ” reflects the common policy vision of European policy makers, civil society, professional organisations and industry.
More and more organisations are analysing the cost-effectiveness of their technological solutions to improve healthy ageing. The number of MAFEIP users has increased, reaching almost 250 users of the tool.
MAFEIP will be used to support the pilot-sites in developing the interventions and to conduct an impact assessment on the socio-economic indicators in a new H2020 project
BSA, which was recognised as an EIP on AHA reference site in 2016 for its innovation in active and healthy ageing, had already developed three use cases with the old version of MAFEIP (Mastermind cCVC, Mastermind cCBT, and BeyondSilos).
Several organisations are currently trying MAFEIP 2.0, the new version of the tool launched this year. Based on the feedback received from users, MAFEIP has been enriched with new functionalities that enable a more accurate estimation of the utility and cost-effectiveness of interventions.
A €50,000 Challenge Prize by the AAL Programme for products and services that use innovative digital technologies to support older people to participate fully in social life.
MAFEIP is explicitly indicated as the preferred socio-economic impact assessment tool to be used in a number of newly released H2020 topics under the Societal Challenge 1 “Health, demographic change and wellbeing”.
